In celebration of International Jazz Day, the Jazz Institute of Chicago is hosting the Chicago Jazz Club Experience, a one-night, citywide event connecting audiences with Chicago’s neighborhood jazz clubs.
Taking place Monday, April 27, 2026, the event invites jazz lovers and newcomers to explore the city’s jazz scene through curated routes across the North Side, South Side, and Loop, with stops at participating clubs throughout the evening.
Guests can choose between two ways to participate: a DIY experience, where attendees navigate their route independently, or a guidedluxury transportation experience between venues.
Participating venues will host live performances throughout the evening, with route guides and on-site hosts to help guests navigate the experience. Additional details, including participating clubs and artists, will be announced in the coming weeks.
Tickets are $30 for the DIY experience and $50 for the luxury transportation experience. Proceeds support the Jazz Institute of Chicago’s education, performance, and community programs, many of which are offered free to the public.
