Chicago Creative Music Workshop

In coordination with the Chicago Jazz Festival, the Chicago Creative Music Workshopis a 2-day intensive featuring masterclasses, workshops, rehearsals, lectures and performances centered on creative improvisation, composition and related scholarship.

CCMW welcomes emerging talents, college students and professionals from the US and abroad to convene for a unique and expansive opportunity for professional development.

Collaborate with leading improvisers, composers and scholars in intensive 2-day workshop.

Faculty for CCMW includes Roscoe Mitchell, William Parker, Nicole Mitchell, Michael Zerang, Ellen Waterman, Renee Baker and David Boykin.
