We have learned that Chicago pianist and original Earma Thompson has passed away.

The Jazz Institute of Chicago is pleased to announce the hiring of their first ever Development and Marketing Director, Virginia Nugent.

Auditions for this year's Kiewitt-Wang Mentorship Award will be held on Friday, June 19, 2009 at Columbia College of Chicago/1014 S. Michigan Avenue from 12 noon - 6:00 p.m.
