The Chicago Jazz Festival Announces New Chicago Community Trust Young Jazz Lions Stage

The 31st Annual Chicago Jazz Festival, a partnership between the Mayor's Office of Special Events and the Jazz Institute of Chicago and presented by the Chicago Jazz Partnership is excited to announce The Chicago Community Trust Young Jazz Lions Stage, the first new stage added to the festival grounds in ten years. 

Eleven groups featuring big bands and small groups from high schools and colleges from the city and outlying suburbs will perform over the course of three afternoons, culminating in a jam session in the final hour on Sunday afternoon. The Chicago Community Trust, our region's community foundation, is a dedicated leader in the collaborative effort to expand arts learning and performance opportunities for all students and a member of the Chicago Jazz Partnership.
