Talking Jazz About The Digital Revolution

Analog to digital. The digital revolution is largely viewed by many musicians as a corruption of the organic sacredness of music's creation. The use of computers and audio software is thought by some to lessen the artistry and creativity involved in making music, some citing that it makes it too easy and somehow kills the need for real talent. Yet is a musician not to use all tools at his disposal as long as his inspiration leads him to arrive at the inspiring? I currently do not know of any jazz bands/artists that rely heavily on digital technology but I would like to know if there are any and how it is integrated while still keeping within the boundaries of the jazz tradition. Does it make it jazz of a lesser kind? How? Why?
