Feeling nostalgic after nephew Dan found new e-link (U of Chgo) regarding my dad, Red Lionberg, Chicago late 40's-50's swing-bebopper. Anyone on this list recall something about him; my uncle, Jay Burkhart (Chicago Jazz Cradle, BeBop sub-band of his Big Band); or extended "family" members Jackie Cain/Roy Kral; or others such as Ammons, Getz, Daley, Mack, Bean, Levy, Holiday, Khan, Gourley, Konitz, Katz, Friedman, Brookmeyer, Stitz, etc.? No worries, speak freely; always been aware of/exposed to sundry lifestyle errors/horrors! But, truly, my dad had a beautiful soul!!
