Born Armando Anthony Corea in Chelsea, Massuchusetts on June 12, 1941, the incomparable Chick Corea turns 67 years old today. This piano maestro has a wing span that covers too many musical genres to measure yet has never failed to sustain a standard of adventurous brilliance. He was been nominated for 45 and awarded a total of 14 Grammys (so far, he is still alive and kicking) for masterpieces such as "Romantic Warrior", "The New Duets", and "The Ultimate Adventure" to name a few.
