We spoke with Alejo Poveda, founder of the Chevere in anticipation of their appearance at the 4th Annual Latin Jazz Festival in Humboldt Park. Alejo spoke about the history of Chevere, the latin jazz scene in Chicago, and his wide ranging musical tastes and interests.
