In the summer of 2002, the Jazz Institute reached out to local high school jazz band directors and music teachers to form The Teachers Advisory Board (TAB). Created to design responsive and pertinent programs for secondary school students, the board is an integral and indispensable part of educational programming at the Jazz Institute. This collaboration helps to guide the Jazz Institute’s educational programming, called Jazz Links, which includes a continually developing roster of activities, workshops and performances.
