The Jazz Links Student Council was created to give direct voice to music students at the high school level. The Council provides an opportunity to develop leadership and professional skills and perform in ensembles at venues all over the city including Millennium Park and the Chicago Jazz Festival. In addition, JLSC members have participated in master classes at Columbia College, produced a CD, and are mentored in the business of music by veteran jazz artists.
