Perform throughout the year at venues such as Columbia College, the Chicago Cultural Center, the Bucktown Arts Festival, the Chicago Jazz Festival, and more!
Learn from world-class instructors and guest clinicians at intensive weekly rehearsals hosted at Columbia College Chicago.
Rehearsals will take place on Saturdays at Columbia College Chicago Music Center (1014 S. Michigan Avenue) from 12:30 - 3:30 p.m. beginning October 25, 2014. Performance opportunities will be included in the program's schedule.
Conductors Mark Coulter, Madeleine Mollinedo and Carlos Ayento whose combined over 28 years of teaching experience in Chicago Public Schools (CPS) will provide leadership and instruction for the ensemble.
Auditions will be held at Columbia College Chicago (1014 S Michigan Avenue) from 12-3:30pm on October 4, 11, and 18. Applications will be provided on-site, and no pre-registration is required to audition.

Auditions will be rated based on TONE QUALITY, INTONATION, TECHNIQUE, PHRASING, SCALES, IMPROVISATION, RHYTHM, SIGHT READING, and PREPARATION.
