The Palo Alto Jazz Alliance (PAJA), a California nonprofit organization of San Francisco Bay Area jazz fans, was formed in 1992 to promote the cause of jazz education. Fundraising efforts allow PAJA to award scholarships to deserving students attending the Stanford Jazz Workshop each summer. Other activities include a regular newsletter and special member events.
