For over 40 years The BackRoom has been the place to go if you are looking for an incredible evening of live music. Guests enter down a long brick hallway where they are greeted by our host and led into our Showcase Lounge. Since no standing is allowed you are seated at your own private candlelit table for 2 or 4, where you have a perfect view of our main stage. Others may choose a comfortable captains chair at our Showcase bar, overlooking the stage. These seats go quick, so be sure to click on Reservations to guarantee your spot.

Although we are primarily known for our great Chicago Jazz, our current line up of performers offer our guests a much more diverse selection of musical genres.
